Case Study

East End Soap Company is a Long Island based luxury soap and skin care company who needed a refresh of their package design, social media presence, content creation and brand awareness.

The Challenge

In an over-saturated marketing both online and in brick-and-mortar retail locations, East End Soap Company’s goals are to break through the same-old “rustic” look found with other brands to make their products more marketable to retailers and consumers.

The Concept

I created a new brand without straying too far away from their original look so as not to create confusion with established consumers. New packaging includes recycled wax paper soap wraps, glass bottles, and other sustainable materials to reduce waste, and colors are bright and vibrant to stand out from the competition. Each product has their own “look” based on their scent. Social media content centers around the bridge between luxury and natural which is the company’s objective.

The Conclusion

Products are now sold online through their own e-commerce site, has established a solid base of returning customers as well as attracting new ones, has positioned themselves within select luxury retailers and has been nominated for Best on Long Island for Natural Skin Care for 5 consecutive years at the time of this post.
